Dimora Montagna Amica is surrounded by several kilometers of cross-country ski trails approved by the FISI, suitable for expert skiers and beginners. Lots of fun in the snow at the Cross-Country Stadium. The slopes of Prato Gentile are also just a few kilometers away. Skis, shoes and poles available at our rental.

Between Molise and Abruzzo, the Sangro river marks the border between the two regions, crossing an area rich in interest. This natural stretch of clear and fresh water is the ideal place to live an exciting experience, fun for all adults and children without danger.

The habitat of our woods is the ideal place for the proliferation of many varieties of mushrooms. With the arrival of spring and the melting of the snow, the optimal conditions are created for the harvest of Marzuolo, an important peculiarity of our territory. The mycological activity continues throughout the year following the seasonality of the mushrooms.

The trails and ski slopes offer many kilometers of trails for enthusiasts. You are spoiled for choice between lush nature and mighty mountains.

An exciting journey to discover the mountains and the beauties of an uncontaminated land, a dip in a fairytale landscape within one of the largest 'White Fir' forests in Europe. For lovers of ascents, the most important peaks of Alto Molise can be climbed between superlative rocky environments and lush beech woods.

With the arrival of the snow we organize guided snowshoe hikes along our paths through breathtaking landscapes, even for the little ones. If you don't have the equipment, don't worry, at our rental you will find everything you need.

The village of Pescopennataro positioned on a rocky spur dominates the whole Sangro valley from its 1200 meters above sea level. On its cliffs there is an authentic rock paradise able to satisfy the needs of the most sophisticated climbers but also of those who prefer more affordable walls.

The riding school with qualified instructors offers lessons for beginners of all ages, but also guided horseback excursions.
